Fishing the Perrault Falls Adventure Area

If you're looking for a fantastic fishing experience in a fabulous wilderness area, you need to look no further than the Perrault Falls Adventure Area. Well known lakes such as Wine Lake, Cedar Lake, Cliff Lake, Perrault Lake, Wabaskang Lake, Florence Lake, Thaddeus Lake, Jackfish Lake, Aerobus Lake and Anishinabi Lake, as well as countless creeks and rivers and smaller outlakes are all part of the Perrault Falls Adventure Area. If you haven't already, we invite you to spend some time at one of our 25 different fine facilities and enjoy all that this pristine part of Northern Ontario has to to offer.

The Perrault Falls Adventure Area boasts a very diverse list of fish species for you to enjoy. Not all species are in each lake, but that's what makes every body of water a new adventure. What makes our area unique is that all lakes within it are part of one major watershed, commonly known as the Cedar River Watershed. Biological studies over the past several years have consistently shown that this watershed has an extremely healthy and diverse fish population. It is the aim of members to ensure that this fishery continues to improve and sustain itself for future generations to enjoy.

The Perrault Falls Adventure Area has walleye, northern and perch in most lakes, with smallmouth bass, lake trout, muskie & whitefish spread throughout the various lakes in the area. Our fish numbers and quality are 2nd to none in Ontario and continue to be managed well by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Lodge owners promoting sustainable fishing habits.

The release of larger breading class fish ensures that our lakes continue to produce the quality of fish that our guests have come to expect and enjoy year after year.

We encourage our guests to experience a traditional Canadian Shorelunch on the shores of your favorite lake with the fresh fish caught that day. Fresh fish are the very best fish!
